What brought you to West Side?

Really enjoyed Steve Reeves sermons when we visited.

Tell us a few things to help get to know you better.

I retired from Memphis PD after 25 years. I’m an army veteran, I drove semi-trucks for 5 years after police work. Even worked for three years in Texas as a police officer.

What Bible character do you relate to most?

David mostly, although he sinned greatly GOD still loved him. Solomon also, even though he was brilliant and blessed by GOD, he still sinned and had his shortcomings.

What’s an act of kindness or encouragement you’ve received from someone at West Side?

Sharon Pitt inviting us to play chicken foot with them. Also Paul Farley has been so kind to my in-laws, the Straws. Our AGAPE Group with the Dawsons is encouraging as well.

What is something you are thankful for right now?

That I’m basically healthy.

What’s a skill you’ve learned recently?

Gardening skills.
