What brought you to West Side?

We moved to Searcy for a job at Harding University and have now been here for 29 years. After visiting most local congregations, it seemed West Side was the best fit for our family. Carla and I are both now retired, but continue to be busy with projects and family. I am now an elder.

What’s a new skill you’ve learned lately?

Playing golf with grandkids

What keeps you busy in your free time?

Music, travel, gardening, reading

Can you share a favorite scripture?

Philippians 4:8-9 helps me refocus when daily tasks overwhelm.

What’s something you’re thankful for right now?

My wife, my family. I consider these the most precious of God’s gifts on this earth.
