September and October 2025

Dear Brethren,

Grace and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Here is a
quick update about my work for the months of September and October 2025. 

BRING YOUR FRIENDS DAY:
The 5th of October was Bring Your Friends Day. We welcomed 9 visitors. After worship, we finished the occasion with a potluck. Two of the visitors have continued to worship with us.  

MARRIAGE LECTURESHIP:
The Dusseldorf Church of Christ organized the 4th Annual Marriage Conference on the 25th and 26th of October. We invited brothers Richard Donkor (New York) and Joseph Osafo (Leytonstone, U.K.) as speakers.   

TRAVELS: 
As many as 9 brethren, including our daughter, Esther, travelled to Ghana. Five of them have since returned while the remaining four are yet to come back.
  
NEW MEMBERS:
Brother Fastfriend Sackey who was a member of Vicenza Church of Christ has temporary move to Germany the last two months and living with Stella and I. Brother Fastfriend has since been worshipping with us.

Brother Safo arrived from Kumasi, Ghana to Dusseldorf to reunite with his father. Safo has been a member of the Lord’s Church in Ghana. He has been worshiping with the Church in Dusseldorf since the 5th of October.

Brother Michael Zibango has been in Germany for nearly two years. He says he has been looking for the church all this time but to no avail. God is so good. Brother Simon who has been working in the same company initiated a conversation with Michael and it turned out that he is a Christian. Michael has been worshipping with us since the 19th of October.

Jones Appiah reunited with his family. Jones was baptized on the 27th of July and relocated from Italy on the 22nd of March 2025. His wife, Linda, and his son, Ezra, are happy to be here.
 
ILLNESS: 
Sister Mary who has been diagnosed with cancer and a swollen liver was discharged from the hospital on the 10th of October. She has been making regular visits to the hospital for chemotherapy. 

FAMILY:
Stella and I are in good health by the grace of God. Please continue to pray for us. Until our next Newsletter for November/December.
