January and February 2026
Dear Brethren,
Grace and peace from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Here is a quick update about my work for the months of January and February 2026.
YOUTH MINISTRY:
On 10th January the Dusseldorf Church of Christ had a youth seminar. Brother Gordon Opong Agyare of Hannover Church of Christ was the guest speaker.
MARRIED AND UNMARRIED CLASSES:
The Dusseldorf Church of Christ conducted our first quarter of 2026 Married and Unmarried Conference on the 31st of January. Brother Frimpong spoke to the unmarried while brother Bernard Asante spoke to the married brethren.
BRING YOUR FRIENDS DAY:
Sunday the 1st of February was "Bring Your Friends Day" on which members of Dusseldorf Church of Christ were asked to invite their friends to worship with us. We use this program for evangelism purposes. After worship the visitors joined us for potluck to share our meal.
PARENTING SEMINAR:
On Saturday the 7th of February, there was a novel program “Parenting Seminar”. The Dusseldorf Church of Christ will continue to have Parenting Seminars in every other month. Marital and parenting challenges are on the rise among Africans living in the diaspora and Christians are no exception, hence the reason for these two programs.
VISIT:
Brother Wayne Brewer and brother Michael visited me and my family from the 7th to the 9th of January during their mission trip to Latvia. When they arrived on that snowy Wednesday of the 7th of January, we visited a church family later in the afternoon at Recklinghausen, a 35 minutes drive from my residence. When we returned, brother Wayne taught the Wednesday Evening Bible Study via Zoom.
On Sunday the 22nd of February, my family accompanied me to an invitation to preach at the church in Hamburg. On our way, we picked Brother Gordon O. Agyare and his son, Kwame, and brought them back on our way back to Essen.
NEW MEMBERS:
Frieda who used to worship with her parent at the church in Hamburg is now studying at the University of Munster and has been worshipping with us since January.
FAMILY:
Stella and I are in good health by the grace of God. Please continue to pray for us. Until our next Newsletter for March/April 2026.
